The experience

The flight itself runs 45–55 minutes depending on wind and the island's size, but the full outing takes about three hours from pickup to return. You start before dawn at the meeting point, board the balloon as it inflates, and lift off to catch the sunrise from altitude. A guide travels in the basket with you and speaks English or Spanish throughout.

When you land, there's a "Baptism of the Air" ceremony with Cava to mark the flight, then breakfast back at the meeting point. You'll receive a flight certificate as proof of the experience. Private flights are available if you want to book for a birthday, anniversary, or simply to fly with your own group rather than share the basket with strangers.
