The experience
The boat leaves San Antonio Port in the afternoon or evening with a small group of up to twelve. Your captain gives a safety overview before you head out across the water, and the onboard sound system plays music for the ride. You'll pass celebrity mansions on the hillsides and move between named stops (nature reserve islands, sea caves and reefs), where the boat slows and anchors so you can get in the water.
At each stop, snorkel gear is ready to use, and you can also take out a paddle board or simply swim and sunbathe on the sand. The underwater marine life is what draws most people to these spots. The gear is included so you don't need to bring your own or rent separately. Two drinks come with every ticket. If you book the sunset option, you get three drinks total (beer, sangria, Champagne, soft drinks or water), and watch the sun drop into the sea from the boat.
The whole trip runs about three hours. You'll need to bring your own bathing suit, towel, sunscreen and comfortable clothes. The boat provides safety vests. Children from age 3 are welcome, though infants must sit on an adult's lap. The guide speaks English and Spanish, and public transport reaches San Antonio Port easily if you don't have a car.

Top questions
What languages is the tour guided in?
Live guide in English and Spanish.
Can children come?
Yes. Ticket types: Child (3 to 14 years). Children under 3 can't be included in the booking.

It may be canceled due to bad weather. If that happens, you're offered another date or a refund. Free cancellation up to 24 h before the start.
Can I snorkel if I've never done it before?
Yes. The captain gives a safety briefing at the start, and snorkeling gear is included with every ticket. You can also choose to just swim or paddle board at the stops instead if you prefer.
What's the difference between the afternoon and sunset options?
Both are 3-hour cruises with the same stops and snorkeling. The sunset option includes three drinks and runs in the evening so you watch the sun set from the boat. The afternoon cruise includes two drinks and runs earlier in the day.
What marine life will I see when snorkeling?
The caves, reefs and nature reserve islands around Ibiza's north coast hold underwater life typical of the Mediterranean (fish, sea urchins and rock formations), though what you encounter depends on the season and the exact spot where the boat anchors.
Do I need to know how to paddle board to use one?
Paddle boards are available at the stops if you want to try one, but they're optional. You can snorkel, swim or sunbathe instead. The choice is yours at each anchor point.
What should I bring on the boat?
Bring your bathing suit, towel, sunscreen and comfortable clothes. The boat provides safety vests and snorkeling gear. Leave valuables at your accommodation since there's no secure storage on board.
