From there, the day moves through four stops: Gyeongbokgung Palace, the largest royal palace in Korea, built 600 years ago with a guard-changing ceremony (when it runs); Bukchon Hanok Village, where traditional Korean houses from the Joseon Dynasty line narrow alleyways and you walk through the architecture instead of just looking at it; Insadong, the main street for Korean crafts, galleries and tea houses where locals buy gifts; and Namdaemun Market, the largest traditional market in the country, with food stalls and wholesale shops selling everything at prices that move fast.

The tour flexes around your layover schedule. You tell the guide when you need to be back at the airport, and the stops and pacing fit that window. Admission to the palace is included, as is the guide. You're in a private group, so you're not sharing the vehicle or the pace with strangers. The minibus option seats more people if you're traveling with others. The minivan is smaller.
