The experience
You arrive at the Korean Traditional Culture Center in Suseong-gu, Daegu (a site recognized by the Korea Tourism Organization as an outstanding wellness tourism destination), and head straight into the experience area on the first floor. Staff help you into Hanbok, Korea's traditional attire, complete with basic accessories. If you want hair decorations, you bring or arrange those yourself. The whole dressing takes about ten minutes.
Then comes the tea. You spend roughly fifty minutes with a cup of traditional Korean tea, following a provided guide at your own pace. This is not a lecture or a performance. It is a moment to slow down, focus entirely on the tea itself, and find a sense of inner calm. The self-guided format means you move through the experience on your own timeline, without a group schedule or a guide narrating the steps. When you finish, staff help you change back out of the Hanbok.
Arrive at least ten minutes early so there is no rush. Public transportation options are nearby if you are traveling from elsewhere in Daegu. You will receive a confirmation voucher via Message before your visit.
