The Experience

You ride an ATV through winding forest trails and rugged terrain around Bled, stopping first at the lake for photos and views. The route climbs to the ruins of an ancient castle perched above the valley, where you walk up on foot, get a quick history lesson and take more pictures. Then you ride into the protected national forest within Triglav National Park to search for wildlife and breathe the air: the whole outing runs two hours.

The quad seats either one or two riders comfortably, and you pick which at checkout. Helmets and gloves come with the rental, along with a bottle of water and a guide who speaks English, German or Croatian. The guide leads the group and handles the route. You handle the throttle. Daily departures leave at 10am and 3pm, and the operator notes that all fitness levels can manage it.
