The experience
You arrive at Dobanovci Heliport where the crew walks you through the grounds and answers questions before boarding. A welcome drink and safety briefing come next, covering the rules you'll follow once airborne. The heliport sits in natural surroundings (river Galovica, fishponds and local hunting ground), so on clear days you might spot wild boar, deer or wild goats from the ground before you even take off.
Once in the air, the route traces Belgrade's landmarks and geography. You pass over the airport and the entrance to the city, then head east toward Višnjička Banja and the Pančevo Bridge. The helicopter follows the Danube River, swings past Belgrade Fortress and Avala Tower, and circles back over the city itself. Ada Ciganlija, the city beach, and the Gazela Bridge come into view as you return to the heliport. Visibility determines how far you can see: on a clear day, Fruška Gora and Avala Mountain appear in the distance.
The aircraft is a Robinson R44, which seats a maximum of three passengers. The total weight limit for all passengers combined is 255 kg, and each individual passenger cannot exceed 120 kg. Infants can sit on an adult's lap. You choose your flight length at checkout: options range from 15 minutes to a full hour, and the price stays the same regardless of how many passengers (up to three) you bring.

Is this one for you?Choose a flight length that matches your schedule: the 15-minute option gives you a quick aerial overview, while the 45 or 60-minute flights let you trace the full route from the airport through the city and back along the Danube. The fixed price per flight means bringing friends or family along costs the same as flying solo, so it works as well for a solo first-time experience as it does for a group surprise.
