Bungee jump from Killiecrankie Bridge, Scotland: 40 meters
Leap from a bridge, freefall toward the river, then winch back up
Bungee jumping from the Garry Bridge in Killiecrankie, Scotland, is a 40-meter jump from a purpose-built platform fitted to the underside of the bridge over the river Garry. You leap, freefall, and are winched back to the platform after the jump. Minimum age is 14; moderate physical fitness is required. Not suitable for travelers with spinal injuries, cardiovascular concerns, or pregnancy.
The Experience
Killiecrankie sits in a valley in Perthshire, and the Garry Bridge is where the jump happens. You'll stand on a purpose-built platform fitted to the underside of the bridge, 40 meters above the river. The countdown starts, and then you step off into the air. There's nothing between you and the water except the rope and the rush.
After the freefall, you're winched back up to the platform. The whole experience takes about two hours from start to finish. Free WiFi is available at the visitor centre while you wait or afterward. The valley views are there before you jump, but the focus is on what your body does in those few seconds of freefall—that's the activity itself.
What’s included

Is this one for you?Two hours is enough time to jump and return to the platform, but not enough to combine this with other activities in the same day—plan the bungee jump as its own outing, or book it early so the rest of your day is still open.
