The experience

Eight to nine hours at a working apiary outside Bucharest, with your own guide and private transport. The day starts with a beekeeping lesson focused on bee behavior and how a colony functions, then moves into a hands-on demonstration of the harvesting process so you see how honey actually gets from the hive to the jar. A licensed English-speaking guide walks you through each step, explaining what you're watching and what the bees are doing.

Lunch happens at the beekeeper's property: traditional Romanian food and drinks sourced locally, eaten in the quiet of the woods and meadows around the apiary.
