The experience

You'll spend your 30 minutes in the water learning to control a flyboard: a jet-powered platform that lifts you above the surface. The operator gives you instructions on land first, then stays with you the entire time you're flying, telling you what to do as you go. This is a full-contact watersport. You will get wet and you need to be in the water to do it. Arrive 10 to 15 minutes early. Arriving after your scheduled time means you lose that time and cannot get a refund, though you may be able to reschedule depending on availability.

Each person books a separate 30-minute slot. If you're coming with others, the first person books at your chosen time, the second person at 30 minutes later, and so on. Do not book multiple people for the same time slot. The system will reject it. The operator provides a lifevest, helmet and bottled water. You'll need a face mask until you enter the water. Maximum weight is 250 pounds. The guide speaks English or Spanish and can adjust instruction to your level, though you should have at least moderate fitness to handle the physical demands of the board.
