The Experience

I nearly missed the start because I was busy staring at a pastry shop window. Those pastel de nata really do call your name in Porto. Our guide, Joana, just grinned and waved me over like she’d seen it all before. We set off through the city center, the air still carrying that morning coffee smell from cafés on Santa Catarina Street.
