The experience

Sixty minutes on a speedboat with an experienced crew takes you past the monuments that define Lisbon, seen from the Tagus River instead of from land. You pass directly under the 25 de Abril bridge, approach the Cristo Rei monument, and cruise past the Belém Tower and Monument to the Discoveries. The boat is built for 12 passengers, so the group stays small enough to move around and get different angles on each site.

Regional sweet wine is served during the tour, and life jackets are provided. The crew speaks English, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian and one additional language, so the commentary reaches most travelers. You can book either a daytime departure or a sunset run, depending on which light suits you and what fits your schedule in Lisbon.
