You're picked up at your hotel in Cascais and head straight into quiet paths that wind through the countryside, away from the crowds. The e-bikes have Bosch motors and Shimano components that handle the terrain without effort, so the climbing feels manageable even when the route climbs. The group stays small — no more than six riders — which means the pace can shift if someone needs a break or wants to linger at a view.

The route takes you from Cascais Market through the Sintra Forest via Quinta do Piso, a path that cuts through rural farmland complete with sheep, horses and local vegetable gardens. You reach Peninha Convent, a former monastery perched high enough to offer a 360-degree panorama of the entire region. From there, the ride descends toward the coast, stopping at Guincho Beach where you can rest and eat lunch (you arrange and pay for your own). The day finishes with a pass through Boca do Inferno and Cascais Old Town before returning to your starting point.

Kids travel comfortably on this route: children aged 8–11 can ride a 24-inch e-bike, younger kids fit in a bike seat (18 months to 4 years), a trailer (4 months to 5 years, fits two), or a tandem attachment (5–7 years).
