The Experience
The tour starts at Łazienki, the Royal Gardens in a district that escaped destruction during the Second World War, so the monuments there are original from the 18th century. From there the coach moves to the Ghetto area, where you'll see the Monument to Warsaw Ghetto Heroes, which marks the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising. Next to it stands POLIN, the Museum of the History of Polish Jews — a modern, interactive space covering a hundred years of Polish Jewish history. The tour stops at Umschlagplatz, the square where Nazis loaded Jewish prisoners onto carriages bound for Treblinka concentration camp.
The final stretch is the Old Town. Your guide walks you through the Market Square, then the Barbican — a defensive wall built in Gothic style from handmade red brick — and shows you St. John's Archcathedral, rebuilt in 1960 after being demolished during the Warsaw Uprising. The Royal Castle, destroyed in 1944 and rebuilt in 1984, is viewed from outside. At the end of the tour you can stay in the Old Town or be dropped at your accommodation.
The coach is equipped with a wide electric entrance door separate for passengers and the guide, and the air conditioning keeps the group comfortable during the three hours. Soft drinks and Polish traditional chocolate candies are provided. If you want to visit inside POLIN after the tour, the driver can drop you there.
What’s included

- transport in an air-conditioned coach.

Operated by Warsaw Guided Bus City Tours
Is this one for you?Small groups work well here because the coach holds up to 20 people and moves through dense historical sites where a guide's voice carries better than on a larger bus. The 3-hour length fits a morning or afternoon slot without eating a full day, and hotel pickup means you don't navigate to a meeting point in an unfamiliar city.

What is the Monument to Warsaw Ghetto Heroes and why is it on this tour?
The Monument to Warsaw Ghetto Heroes commemorates the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising during the Second World War. It stands next to POLIN, the Museum of the History of Polish Jews, and marks one of the most significant sites in Warsaw's history — the tour includes this stop because it is central to understanding the city.
Can I visit inside POLIN museum during the tour?
POLIN is not included inside the tour itself, but the tour stops at the museum and you have the option to visit on your own afterward because it is interactive and does not require a guide. The driver can drop you there if you want to stay.
How many people travel together on this tour?
The tour is a small group in an air-conditioned coach that holds up to 20 people, so you travel with other visitors rather than as a private party.
What happens at Umschlagplatz and why is it part of the tour?
Umschlagplatz is the square where Nazis loaded Jewish prisoners onto carriages for transport to Treblinka concentration camp. It is one of the most significant historical sites in Warsaw and the tour includes it to show the full scope of the city's Second World War history.
Does the tour include seeing inside the Royal Castle?
The Royal Castle is viewed from the outside only. The castle was destroyed during the Warsaw Uprising in 1944 and rebuilt in 1984, and the tour shows it as part of the Old Town section.
What is included in the tour price?
The tour includes hotel pickup and drop-off, transport by air-conditioned coach, a professional English-speaking guide, soft drinks, and Polish traditional chocolate candies.
