The experience

You'll spend an hour and a half behind the bar at one of Poland's most decorated cocktail bars, learning how bartenders actually work. The workshop covers basic techniques: how to build, shake and strain, how spirits and bitters balance, the history behind each drink you make. You'll walk away having made an Old Fashioned and two other classics, each one something you can order or build again.

The bar holds over 300 spirits on its shelves: the kind of depth that backs up what the instructors teach. You're working in a space that won the Bar of the Year award in 2017 and belongs to the World's Best Bars group, so the techniques you learn are the ones the pros use. A live guide leads the workshop in English or Polish, depending on your preference, and keeps the group small enough that you get hands-on time with each drink.

The bar is wheelchair accessible and sits near public transportation options if you're traveling without a car. You'll need to be at least 18 to attend. Hotel pickup isn't included, so you'll arrange your own way there. The location is central enough that taxis and transit both work.
