The experience

Kitesurfing moves fast once you understand the kite. The class starts with the fundamentals: how wind direction affects your kite, how to pilot it with precision, and how to read the power you're holding. You'll practice water relaunch (getting the kite back up after it lands), and body dragging, the exercise that teaches you to move across the water before you ever step on a board. All of it happens in the shallows where the instructor can see you and adjust your grip or stance in real time.

You get the kite, bar, booties and harness for the full session. The class runs 1.5 hours if you're the only person booking, or 2 hours if there are two of you. An English or Filipino-speaking guide leads the whole thing, so language isn't a barrier to understanding what to do next. Public transportation options are nearby if you need to get to the beach.

What’s included

  • Kite, bar, booties and harness.
  • instruction from an English or Filipino-speaking guide.
  • water relaunch and body dragging practice in the shallows.
