The experience

Before dinner, your guide helps you prepare a typical dish: the kind of thing that sounds like a tourist activity until you're actually doing it, and then it's just cooking. There's time to visit the thermal baths if you want, or to sit and watch the light change on the canyon walls. Breakfast is included the next morning, and so is the pickup from your hotel in Arequipa at the start. The van carries oxygen and a first aid kit, the driver and guide are certified, and someone is available 24/7 if something goes wrong, which matters when you're that high and that far from a city.
