The experience

We were already wrapped in those thick blue blankets when our guide, Martín, handed me a mug of coffee: honestly, I was grateful for both. The air outside Buenos Aires felt sharper than I expected, but everyone seemed more excited than cold. There was this low hum of chatter as Martín set up the first telescope and pointed it toward Jupiter. I could smell the grass mixing with someone’s thermos of mate nearby.
