The experience
The introductory line passes over the Yellow River Gorge, a short enough run to give you the feel of ziplining without committing to hours in the canopy. You strap into a harness and helmet, then launch across the gorge with the wind and the forest around you. The line ends at a vantage point overlooking Chorro El Macho waterfall, so the last thing you see before you slow to a stop is the water and the landscape below.
A guide leads the activity in English or Spanish and manages the setup and safety checks. The 30-minute window covers the ride itself. Arrival time for briefing and gear fitting will add a bit to your total time on-site. The climate in El Valle de Antón stays warm year-round, and the extinct volcano that dominates the valley is the geography you're ziplining over. Children from age 6 can participate with proper harness fit.
