The experience

Chorro El Macho sits in dense forest, and the zipline course uses that height: you start at the top of the canopy and work downward across six separate lines, each one angled differently so the waterfall appears from a new vantage on every descent. You wear a harness and helmet throughout, and a guide in English or Spanish walks you through the gear and the platform before each run. The speed builds naturally as gravity does the work. You are not pedaling or pulling, just holding on and moving forward through air and vegetation.

After the six lines finish, the route takes you down to the base of Chorro El Macho on foot, so you see the waterfall from below and understand the full height you just crossed. The whole outing runs about two hours from start to finish. Fully enclosed sports shoes are required (no sandals or open-toed footwear), and the operator provides harnesses and helmets. A guide stays with the group throughout, managing the equipment and pacing the descents so everyone moves safely.

What’s included
