The experience

The tour starts at Sahalnoot spring, where natural waters pool in a limestone basin, then moves to Mughsail beach: a long stretch where herons and flamingos gather in the lagoon at the eastern end. From there you walk into Marneef cave, a limestone formation carved by erosion over millennia. At high tide, seawater forces up through blowholes in the cliff face and fountains out of the rock. The drive then climbs to Shaat cliff, an 800-meter vantage point overlooking the coast and the Jebel Qamar peaks.

The day ends with swimming at Fazayah beach, a remote sandy cove backed by the Qamar Mountains. You'll have bottled water and soft drinks throughout the eight-hour outing. Hotel pickup is included, and the guide will speak your choice of English, Czech, Arabic or Slovak.
