The Experience

The minivan pulls away from Bergen at a time you choose, and within twenty minutes the city's old wooden buildings fade behind you. Two waterfalls break up the drive. Fossen Bratte drops 79 meters, and the path down to its base is short enough that you can stand close enough to feel the spray — the water is cold and loud and real.
