The experience

The jump site sits on a tower 20 minutes outside Pokhara Lakeside, positioned so the Himalayas, surrounding hills and river valleys frame the moment you step to the edge. You'll have an English-speaking guide on-site walking you through the setup and the jump itself. The whole experience (transport, briefing, the jump and the aftermath) takes about 2 hours.

The 70-meter free fall lasts 5 seconds. That's the window between leaving the platform and the cord engaging. After that, the bounce carries you up and down a few times before you're lowered back to the platform. Air-conditioned transport picks you up from your accommodation and brings you back, so you're not arranging the logistics yourself.

HighGround operates the only tower bungee in Nepal, which means this is the setup: no bridge jumps, no natural-site variations. You need at least moderate physical fitness and a minimum age of 13. The operator doesn't recommend this jump for anyone with spinal injuries, pregnancy, or cardiovascular concerns.
