The day starts with pickup from your Marrakech hotel at 8am, then a 3-hour drive south in a shared minibus to Ouzoud Falls. The cascade drops from a height that makes the whole landscape shift — the water falls into a river gorge, and the air changes as you approach. You arrive with time to choose your path: hike with a local guide (not included, arranged on-site) or walk the trails on your own. The terrain is manageable for most fitness levels, and the route takes you higher as the day goes on.

Around 1pm, you stop for lunch at a local spot near the river — the meal isn't included, but it's straightforward to arrange and costs roughly €10 paid in cash. After eating, the hike continues to the top of the falls, where the view shifts from looking at the cascade to standing above it. You get free time to rest, take photos or just sit with the sound of the water. Swimming in the falls is discouraged, so the river stays a view rather than a swim stop.

The boat ride happens as part of the day — you drift through the gorge below the falls, seeing the landscape from water level before heading back. The minibus leaves Ouzoud at 4pm for the return drive to Marrakech, dropping you at the main square or your hotel around 6pm. The whole day runs 8 to 10 hours door to door.
