"The monkeys, they come down in the morning when it's cool," our guide said as the van climbed out of the city, and he wasn't wrong — within an hour of leaving Marrakech, we were standing at the edge of Ouzoud Falls watching them move through the trees above the spray. The drive takes you through the Moroccan countryside, and the landscape shifts from the medina's tight streets to open hills and olive groves.
