The experience

You're picked up from your Marrakech hotel in an air-conditioned vehicle and driven out to the desert base camp. The crew leader walks you through the day (it's straightforward, no surprises), and then you're dressed in a nomadic outfit before heading out on camel. The ride itself is slow and rhythmic across the sand, the kind of pace that lets you actually look around instead of just hold on. After that, you switch to a quad bike and ride to a high point to catch the sunset over the Agafay Desert. The light hits different from up there.

Once it gets dark, you're back at the Berber tent. A fire performer takes over (actual flame manipulation, not just a prop), and the energy shifts.
