The experience
How do you know if the guides actually care about your safety, or just say they do? On this tour, the guides are trained and experienced, and they bring a lively energy to the whole thing. They're entertainers as much as safety experts. You'll clip into a harness, get a helmet and gloves, and then move through the canopy on 13 separate lines that cover two kilometers total. The two double lines let you ride tandem, and the suspension bridges between ziplines give your hands a break while you take in the view of the landscape below. The highest point reaches 125 meters above sea level.
The whole experience runs about two hours, though the pace depends on how many people are in your group that day. PETZL equipment (the brand climbers and rescue teams trust) comes with you the whole way. Guides speak both English and Spanish, so language isn't a barrier to understanding the safety briefing or the jokes they crack between lines. After you're done zipping, there's a swimming pool to cool off in, and then a tequila tasting that walks you through the flavors and traditions of the spirit. Purified water and all taxes are included.
Pickup happens from your accommodation or from one of the meeting points in Sayulita itself, and the ride back is included too. You don't need to arrange transport or figure out how to get there. That's handled. Bring a camera if you want photos from the top. The views are the kind people actually want to remember.
