The experience

The ruins sit on a clifftop with a panoramic view of the Caribbean Sea. A national park fee of $515 Mexican pesos per person covers entry and taxes. This is separate from the tour price.
After the ruins, the group heads a few kilometers into the jungle to a cavern-type cenote. Snorkeling equipment and the flashlights are provided. The water is crystalline and the cenote is described as the best in the region.
The experience is built around small groups, so you travel with a handful of other people rather than a large tour bus. An air-conditioned vehicle transports you between stops. Pictures of the cenote tour are included.
