The Experience

Tulum Ruins is where the day starts. Your guide meets you at the office and rides alongside you on your choice of vehicle—scooter, ATV or e-bike—heading through downtown Tulum to the archaeological site. Entry to the ruins is included; your guide won't lead you through them, but you can explore on your own or hire a certified archaeologist separately if you want the history narrated. After you've walked the site, you ride back out and head south.

The Tulum Beach Road is what comes next. You and your guide weave down this stretch stopping at the beach clubs, shops and restaurants that line it, with time to take pictures and browse. It's a seven-hour tour overall, so the pace lets you linger at stops instead of rushing through them. Water and snacks travel with you.

A beach cenote marks the end of the ride. Entry and snorkeling equipment are both included. You can swim, snorkel or paddleboard depending on what appeals to you, and a Mayan lunch is served before you head back along the Beach Road to the office.
