The experience
You meet the crew at Muelle Fiscal docks at 8:30 am for check-in and gear fitting. All equipment is provided (wetsuit, BCD, fins, mask, regulators and weights), so you arrive with nothing but your certification. The guide chooses the two dive sites based on your experience level and the day's weather, then heads out into the Sea of Cortez. Between dives you surface, catch your breath, and stay alert for dolphins, turtles and manta rays that move through these waters.
After the second dive, the boat pulls into a pristine beach where lunch waits: fish and shrimp ceviche, along with light refreshments. You can swim, relax on the sand or simply sit with the view of the Sea of Cortez in front of you. There's no rush. The day is built around the diving and the recovery time between dives, not around fitting in extra stops. You head back to the docks around 3:30 pm.
Is this one for you?The guide speaks English or Spanish, so choose the language you're comfortable diving in. The day suits all physical fitness levels, though it's not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries, poor cardiovascular health, or during pregnancy.
