The experience
One hour is built around four pours: you start with a Cachasol welcome cocktail at the Cachashade Bar while the guide introduces the farm, the distillery, and how tequila and raicilla differ. Then you taste the estate-made raicilla, produced on-site using ancestral techniques, before moving into the main tasting. Cachasol Blanco and Epic Strength come with chef-prepared bites (nopal salad, ceviche), and the guide explains how fermentation, proof, and food bring out different flavors in each pour. You finish with a Rare Beauty: a Cabernet-barrel-aged reposado that sits apart from the everyday bottles.
What sets Cachasol apart is the production itself. The tequila uses 100% Nayarit-grown agave and an IPA-inspired fermentation that gives it bright citrus and floral notes instead of the heavy sweetness you might expect. Men's Journal named it one of 2026's Best Small-Batch Tequilas, and the guide walks you through why: the choices that matter, not just the story. The raicilla, made with ancestral techniques right on the farm, sits outside the tequila category entirely and tastes like it.
After the tasting ends, you're welcome to linger. The property has farm-to-table food available, more cocktails, and space to wander if you want to see how it's made. The guide speaks English or Spanish, and children from age one are welcome. Under 18 get in free when accompanying family, though alcohol is served only to guests 18 and older. Non-alcoholic drinks are available for purchase.

Top questions
What languages is the guide in?
Live guide in English and Spanish.
Can children come?
Yes. Ticket types: Youth (1 to 17 years): free.
What's the difference between tequila and raicilla?
Raicilla is made from agave but falls outside the tequila category. It's produced using ancestral techniques and tastes distinctly different. On this tasting, you'll try Cachasol's estate-made raicilla, produced right on the farm, so you can taste the difference side by side with the tequilas.
What does Cachasol Blanco actually taste like?
Cachasol Blanco has bright citrus and floral notes with real agave character, shaped by the farm's use of 100% Nayarit-grown agave and IPA-inspired fermentation. The chef-prepared pairings (nopal salad, ceviche) are designed to bring out those flavors in each pour.
Is there food included, or just the pairings?
Chef-prepared tasting pairings come with the experience: nopal salad, ceviche, and cooked agave alongside the four spirits. After the tasting, farm-to-table food and additional cocktails are available for purchase if you want to stay longer on the property.
Do I need to arrange transportation to Cachasol?
Transportation to and from the distillery is available as an add-on option at checkout. It's not included in the base tasting. You can arrange it when you book or make your own way to the farm.
