Step-by-step itinerary
Parasailing and Jet Ski adventure
- Parasail 260 ft above Caribbean Sea
- Enjoy panoramic views of Cancun and Isla Mujeres
- Ride Jet Ski for 30 minutes
The experience
You start at Playa Tortugas, where the boat crew fits you with a parasail harness and tows you behind a speedboat. The ascent is gradual. You rise 260 feet above the water, high enough to see across Cancun's Hotel Zone and out toward Isla Mujeres. The Caribbean spreads below in shades of turquoise and blue. You stay aloft for several minutes before the crew brings you back down to the boat, landing safely on deck.
Once you're back aboard, you move straight to the jet ski portion. You ride one of the operator's watercrafts for 30 minutes, steering across the same turquoise waters you just saw from above. The speed and control shift the sensation entirely, where parasailing is suspended and panoramic, the jet ski is immediate and tactile. Bottled water is provided throughout.
The whole sequence takes 40 minutes from start to finish. A guide in English or Spanish is with the group. Children as young as 6 can participate. Public transportation reaches Playa Tortugas, so you don't need a rental car to get there. The activity suits couples, friends and families equally, since both parasailing and jet skiing work for mixed groups with no special training required.
What’s included
Bottled water is provided during the activity.
