You're driving out of Oaxaca City in a clean, air-conditioned sedan or van with a licensed local guide who knows which artisan families open their doors to visitors and which market days actually happen. The company runs eight different stops across the region — Monte Albán's archaeological site, the petrified waterfalls at Hierve el Agua, weaver cooperatives in Teotitlán del Valle, the Tule Tree, pottery workshops, and markets that fill on specific days — and you pick which ones matter to you. Nothing is rushed. You spend as long as you want at each place, which is the whole point of a private tour in Oaxaca.

The stops themselves are real. At Teotitlán del Valle you watch Zapotec weavers demonstrate natural dyes on wool rugs, still using methods that go back generations.
