A shared transfer from Cancun Airport to hotels in Puerto Morelos, Costa Mujeres, Playa del Carmen, Tulum or Maroma, with departures every hour from 8 am until 5 pm. You'll be met at arrivals with a sign, assigned to a vehicle, and driven to your hotel. One piece of luggage per person is included, and you get a free shopping tour to Cancun or Playa del Carmen on a separate day. Booking requires 2 days' notice and is subject to availability.

The experience

The shuttle leaves Cancun Airport on the hour, every hour, so timing matters when you book. You choose your departure window before checkout (8 am, 9 am, 10 am and so on through 5 pm), and the vehicle departs at that time whether it's full or not. If your flight lands late or migration takes longer than expected, the service is subject to availability. If no shared shuttle remains, you can upgrade to private transport for an additional fee. The driver will be waiting at the exit with a sign bearing the Yamevi Travel logo, and from there the ride to your hotel takes roughly an hour depending on which zone you're headed to.

The vehicles are 2020 and 2021 models, fully sanitized, and the drivers are trained to get you to your hotel without fuss. You get one piece of luggage per person included. Additional bags can be arranged. If you're traveling with an infant, specialized car seats are available. The company has moved over 250,000 passengers and marks its 5th anniversary by including a free shopping tour (either in Cancun or Playa del Carmen) that you book on a separate day after you arrive.

Booking requires confirmation at least 2 days in advance. When you reserve, you'll select both your hotel zone (Hotel Strip, Costa Mujeres, Puerto Morelos, Playa del Carmen, Tulum or Maroma) and your preferred departure hour, since those two choices determine which vehicle you're assigned to. If you miss your scheduled shuttle, availability cannot be guaranteed, though the staff will work with you on alternatives.

Shared shuttles leave on the hour every hour, starting at 8 am and running through 5 pm. You choose your departure time when you book, and the vehicle departs at that scheduled hour.

What happens if my flight is delayed and I miss my shuttle time?

If you arrive after your scheduled departure, the service is subject to availability. If no shared shuttle is running, you can pay a fee to upgrade to private transport instead.

Which hotel zones does this transfer serve?
