The experience
The boat departs from Cabo San Lucas Marina and heads straight into the sightseeing part of the day. You'll pass El Arco at Land's End, the Sea Lion Colony, Pirate's Cave and Pelican Rock, the landmarks that define Cabo's coastline, while the guide points out what you're looking at and the boat moves slowly enough for photos. The turquoise water and dramatic rock formations are the backdrop, but the pace is relaxed. This is not a rush through a checklist.
Once the boat reaches Lover's Beach, you get approximately 2 hours on your own. The sand is white, the water is clear, and there's nothing scheduled: swim, float, walk the shoreline, or sit and do nothing. The boat stays anchored nearby and picks you up when the time is up, then returns you to the marina. The whole experience runs about three hours from start to finish, which means it fits into a free afternoon or a morning before other plans.
Pickup is optional: you can arrange your own way to the marina, or choose hotel pickup from Cabo San Lucas, San José del Cabo, or the Tourist Corridor at checkout. The guide speaks both English and Spanish throughout. Life jackets are available if you want one, and swimming is subject to weather. If conditions turn unsafe, the boat will take you to an alternative beach instead.

What exactly is El Arco and why do people come to see it?
El Arco is the natural rock arch at Land's End, where the Pacific Ocean meets the Sea of Cortez at the southern tip of the Baja Peninsula. The boat passes close enough for photos and the guide explains what you're seeing. It's the most recognizable landmark in Cabo.
Will I have time to actually swim, or is this mostly a boat ride?
You get approximately 2 hours at Lover's Beach with free time to swim and relax. The boat ride itself is the first part of the experience. The beach time is the second half, and it's unscheduled so you set the pace.
What happens if the weather is bad on the day of my tour?
Swimming is subject to weather conditions. If sea conditions become unsafe, the boat will modify the itinerary and take you to an alternative beach instead of Lover's Beach, with no refund adjustment.
Do I need to arrange my own transportation to the marina, or is pickup included?
Pickup is optional. You can choose to arrange your own way to Cabo San Lucas Marina, or select hotel pickup from Cabo San Lucas, San José del Cabo, or the Tourist Corridor when you book. The choice is yours at checkout.
Is snorkeling gear provided, or do I need to bring my own?
Snorkeling equipment is not included with this tour. If you want to snorkel at Lover's Beach during your free time, you'll need to bring your own gear or rent it separately.
