The experience
You're picked up from your hotel and brought to the starting point, where you'll gear up with safety equipment (helmet, bandana and goggles) before climbing into the driver's seat of a Polaris RZR. The vehicle is yours to operate for the next three hours. From there, you head into the Baja desert on dusty roads, steering across dry riverbeds and through the arid landscape toward the nearby mountains. The terrain shifts as you approach the coast: sand dunes replace hard-packed earth, and the sea breeze picks up as Migriño Beach comes into view.
Once you reach the beach, you continue driving along the coastline and across the sand before turning back toward the starting point. The whole route covers the untouched wilderness between the desert interior and the ocean, so you're moving through different terrain the whole time rather than staying in one zone. A guide is with you throughout, speaking English or Spanish, and the operator handles the return transport to your hotel when the ride ends.
Park admission costs $20 USD, payable in cash on the day. Drivers must be at least 16 years old. Passengers can be as young as 4. If you're 17 or younger, collision insurance is mandatory. The activity is not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries, pregnancy, or cardiovascular concerns, and you'll need at least a moderate level of physical fitness to handle the three-hour drive.
What’s included

Top questions
What languages is the guide in?
Live guide in English and Spanish.
Can I ride as a passenger if I don't want to drive the UTV myself?
Yes. The Polaris RZR comes in single, double, triple and quadruple occupancy options, so you can book a seat as a passenger and let someone else operate the vehicle. You'll still experience the same route through the desert, riverbeds and Migriño Beach.
What's the terrain like on the drive to Migriño Beach?
You'll cross dusty Baja roads, dry riverbeds in the mountains, and sand dunes before reaching the beach itself. The landscape is arid and untouched, shifting from hard-packed desert to softer sand as you approach the coast.
Is hotel pickup included, or do I need to get to a meeting point?
Hotel pickup and drop-off are included. The operator will collect you from your accommodation and return you there after the three-hour ride ends.
What happens if I damage the UTV?
Collision insurance is mandatory for drivers 17 and younger. For drivers 18 and older, it's optional at $50 USD per vehicle. If you decline insurance and are over 18, the operator may request a fully refundable security deposit.
