The zoo splits into two halves: a bus route through the herds, then a walking area where you meet smaller animals up close.

Africam Safari Zoo Admission with Transportation is a guided tour of Latin America's largest zoo, where you travel by air-conditioned bus through open habitats to see lions, giraffes, rhinos, elephants and monkeys, then walk through the Adventure Zone to encounter antelopes, bats and meerkats. Transport from your departure point and zoo entry are included. The tour runs about five hours. A Spanish-speaking guide leads the experience, and the park is wheelchair accessible throughout.

The experience

The tour starts with a bus ride through the zoo's main sections, where animals live in herds across open areas instead of cages. You'll pass giraffes, antelopes, tigers, rhinos and lions from your seat, with windows that open for photographs. The second half shifts to walking: the Adventure Zone lets you move through exhibits on foot to see smaller species like antelopes, bats, anteaters and meerkats. The park holds more than 2,500 animals across both sections.

Transport by air-conditioned bus picks you up from your departure point and brings you to the zoo, then serves as your vehicle for the first part of the tour itself. Admission to all areas is included. On weekends and holidays, the park runs extra attractions and activities for different ages, though these are separate from the standard tour. The Kilimanjaro Restaurant and souvenir shops are on-site if you want to eat or buy something during your visit.

A Spanish-speaking guide leads the experience. The entire park is wheelchair accessible, and strollers work for infants and small children. Service animals are welcome. A minimum of two people per booking is required, and children must be accompanied by an adult. Travel insurance is included in the package.

Is this one for you?Five hours is long enough to ride the bus route and walk the Adventure Zone without rushing, but it leaves the rest of your day free if you're combining this with other plans in the area. The time commitment rules out a full day elsewhere, but fits easily into a morning or afternoon block.
