The experience

The tour starts at Andrea Lodges and heads out along the Savanne river toward Gris Gris Cape, where you get a view of the cliffs and La Roche qui Pleure before reaching Rochester Falls. The waterfall stop comes early enough that you can swim if you want to, rather than arriving tired at the end of the day. Helmets, dust masks and dust caps are provided.

After the falls, the route takes you to a crocodile park where you walk among enclosures holding crocodiles, tortoises and other animals. Lunch happens at Andrea Lodges with a view of the volcanic cliffs, and you can request specific dietary accommodations when you book. The ride then passes through Senneville bridge on the return to the starting point.
