The experience

The boat leaves from your hotel and heads to Grand Rivière waterfall, the longest river in Mauritius with its mouth near the east coast. You'll see wild monkeys around the waterfall, then move on to Margenie Island where the crew serves a BBQ lunch with alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks included. The real heart of the day is Île aux Cerfs itself: 87 hectares of undeveloped island with white sand beaches and turquoise water. On the return journey, the boat stops at a snorkeling spot in the east lagoon where you use the provided equipment to explore the reef.
