The experience
You operate the buggy yourself, not ride as a passenger. After a quick briefing at 10am, you depart with a trained guide leading on a separate ATV. The day splits roughly 40% scenic riding and 60% action-packed trails, passing through viewpoints, small rivers, lakes, waterfalls and Bedouin settlements. Eight destinations are available: Barouk Lakes trail, Laklouk Lakes, Oyoun Orghosh Oasis, Cedars of God, Ehden, Zahle, Kornet el Sawda Viewpoint and Tannourine. Trails can be tailored for groups based on seasons, conditions and rider preferences, so the route adapts to what you want.
The RZR XP4 fits one driver and three passengers, so a family or group books one vehicle and splits the cost among everyone inside it. Helmets and dust masks come with the rental. The trail gets dusty, so wear over-the-ankle boots, long pants, sunglasses or goggles, and bring an extra layer in case it cools on the way back. A professional guide, bottled water and coffee or tea are included. If you want lunch at the final destination, reserve ahead: the good restaurants fill up.
Arrive 15 minutes early for the briefing. You'll need a valid driving licence (any country's licence is accepted) and must be at least 18 years old to drive. Passengers can be as young as 6 if accompanied by an adult. The return is around 5pm, giving you time for photos, views and rest stops along the way.

Is this one for you?The guide speaks English, French or Arabic, so choose the language your group understands best. If you want to drive yourself through off-road trails rather than watch from a passenger seat, this is the activity for you. If you'd rather ride along without operating the vehicle, you can book as a passenger in someone else's buggy at the same price per seat.
