Six Days Across Three Parks: Elephants at Kilimanjaro's Foot, Flamingos at Lake Nakuru, and the Mara's Big Cats

You do game drives at dawn and dusk, stay in lodges and camps, and get picnic lunches on the full-day drives. All park entry fees are covered. The Experience
The driver picks you up at Nairobi airport or your hotel and heads southwest toward Amboseli. By lunchtime you're checking into Sentrim Lodge with Mount Kilimanjaro rising across the Tanzanian border, and by 4pm you're back in the vehicle for your first game drive. Amboseli sits at the mountain's foot, and the elephants here know it — they move through the park in long processions, dust trailing behind them. Your guide, who stays with you for all six days, reads the landscape like a map, spotting movement in the acacia scrub before you'd notice anything was there.
The second day is a full game drive with a picnic lunch box. You leave at 7am when the animals are still moving, and you don't return until late afternoon. Amboseli's special beauty, as the itinerary says, includes those elephant parades, the view of Kilimanjaro on clear mornings, and a steady stream of birds and smaller wildlife. The park is smaller than the Mara, which means you see more in less space. After two nights you drive north to Lake Nakuru, arriving for lunch and an afternoon game drive. The lake itself is the draw — flamingos still gather there in numbers, and the alkaline water reflects the sky in a way that makes the whole place feel unreal.
On day four, you head to Masai Mara National Reserve. The drive takes most of the morning. You arrive for lunch, rest, and then join your guide for an afternoon game drive before dusk. The Mara is vast — 1,500 square kilometers of open plains dotted with acacia trees and crossed by the Mara River. This is where the big cats hunt. Day five is another full day game drive starting at 7am with a picnic lunch, and you'll see a variety of animals moving across the magnificent park. The Mara is the one place where you might see a kill, or at least the aftermath, and your guide will explain what you're looking at without turning it into theater.
On the final morning, after breakfast at the camp, you and your guide drive back toward Nairobi. The route passes Lake Naivasha, where you stop for a boat safari and a walk in the wildlife sanctuary before heading into the city. The Maasai Market is mentioned as a stop, though the itinerary doesn't detail how long you spend there. By evening you're back in Nairobi. All park fees and taxes are included in the price, so there are no surprises at the gate.
