A private transfer from Petra takes you from your hotel to destinations across Jordan (Amman, Aqaba, the Dead Sea, Allenby Bridge or Sheikh Hussein) in a new air-conditioned car or van with an English-speaking driver. You choose the vehicle size and route at checkout, and the driver meets you at your hotel with a confirmed pickup time. One suitcase and one carry-on bag per person are included. Excess luggage may incur a charge.

The experience

Book a car for two to three travelers or a van for larger groups, and your driver handles the route while you settle in. The vehicle is new, air-conditioned, and equipped with Wi-Fi. Your driver speaks English and arrives at your agreed meeting point on time. You'll receive a travel voucher at booking with the supplier's contact details so you can confirm your exact pickup time and location before travel. Waiting time at the pickup point is 15 minutes.

The transfer duration depends on your destination and traffic conditions: journeys range from around 30 minutes to four hours. You're allowed one suitcase and one handbag per person. If you're traveling with oversized gear like golf clubs, diving equipment or bikes, contact the operator before booking to confirm those items can be accommodated. Car seats for infants are available on request for an additional cost. Wheelchair-accessible vehicles are available, also by request with an additional charge.
