Shipwrecks, plane wrecks, tank wrecks, and the fish that live among them

A 2-hour private scuba dive in Aqaba where you descend from South Beach into the Red Sea with a guide, full equipment and instruction. The dive includes a briefing on the shore, supervised practice in shallow water until you're confident, then a descent to see wrecks and marine life; photos and videos are shot during the dive and provided afterward. You arrange your own transport to South Beach or the operator meets you there.

The Experience

Two hours is enough to get in the water, practice, and reach the wrecks without eating the whole day. You meet your private guide at South Beach (or arrange pickup in advance), get fitted with SCUBA equipment, and receive a briefing on how to use it and conduct yourself underwater. The guide walks you from the shore into the sea, stays with you while you practice in shallow water until you feel ready, then leads you deeper to the wrecks and the marine life around them.

Aqaba's dive sites are built on wrecks — shipwrecks, plane wrecks, tank wrecks — and the fish and coral that have claimed them. Your guide shoots photos and videos throughout the dive and sends them to you afterward, so you have a record of what you saw without managing a camera yourself. The Red Sea here is cold enough that a wetsuit matters, but the visibility and the density of life make the depth worth it.

Transport to South Beach is your choice: you can drive yourself and meet the guide there, or arrange a pickup in advance. Bottled water is provided. The dive is led in English or Arabic, and the guide stays with you the entire time.

What’s included

  • Full SCUBA equipment and snorkelling gear.
  • private guide in English or Arabic.
  • bottled water.
  • all fees and taxes.
  • photos and videos shot during the dive and provided afterward.
