Before the tour starts, you pick a costume from the selection on offer, which gives you the look for the photos your guide will take along the way.

The route moves through Harajuku's trendsetting energy, along Omotesando's wide avenues, past the greenery of Yoyogi Park, and arrives at Shibuya Crossing: the intersection that stops traffic in every travel film about Tokyo. Your guide leads the way, manages the pace and shares what you're driving through, so you stay safe and oriented while the city moves around you. The whole experience runs about 80 minutes. Complimentary photos happen at key stops. You don't have to think about framing or timing, just drive and look. After the tour, the photos come to you as both a hard copy print and digital files via AirDrop or email.

You'll need a valid International Driving Permit issued under the 1949 Geneva Convention: a hard copy, not a digital version. If your license comes from France, Switzerland, Taiwan, Germany, Monaco or Belgium, bring a Japanese translation from the Japan Automobile Federation (JAF). Some countries' permits are not recognized in Japan, so check before you book. Bottled water and a locker for your belongings are included. The fuel and go-kart are part of the package.
