Cherry blossom and city highlights tour

  • Morning stroll at Sensoji temple
  • Visit Hamarikyu Garden
  • Cross Shibuya scramble crossing
  • Visit Meiji Shrine
  • Explore Omotesando shopping street

The Experience

The morning begins at Senso-ji Temple, one of Tokyo's oldest, where you walk among cherry blossoms through the temple grounds. Nakamise street stretches from the Thunder Gate lined with shops selling traditional Japanese souvenirs and ningyoyaki, the sweets popular with visitors. The licensed guide explains the history and background of each stop as you move through.

Next is Hamarikyu Garden, set alongside Tokyo Bay. In spring the garden fills with pink cherry blossoms and yellow rapes, and the seawater ponds shift level with the tides—a detail that makes the garden feel alive to the rhythm of the bay. The traditional landscape stands in sharp contrast to the high-rise office buildings of the Shiodome district visible just beyond the garden walls. After the garden, you head to Shibuya Crossing, the world's busiest intersection, where hundreds of people cross at once from five directions. The bronze statue of Hachi, the loyal dog, stands near the crossing.

The final stop is Meiji Shrine, built in 1920 and dedicated to Emperor Meiji and Empress Shoken. Surrounded by oak and camphor trees, the shrine feels like an oasis in the middle of Tokyo's bustle. The tour ends at Omotesando, the shopping street lined with zelkova trees and known for its fashion flagship stores and architecture. Lunch is not included, so you'll eat on your own during the day.
