The experience

The zipline is the centerpiece, but Good Hope works differently than a single-activity stop. You arrive at a park-style setup where multiple experiences sit in one place, and you decide what to do and when. Soar through the trees on the zipline, then step off and rent an e-bike to cruise the estate, float down the river on a tube, or walk to the 50-foot waterfall and the six wading pools that lead to it. The Appleton Rum Tasting happens at your own pace, and if you want structure, a scavenger hunt gives you a reason to explore the grounds. A professional guide is there for safety and to answer questions, but the day is yours to shape.

Hotel pickup starts 30 to 120 minutes before your arrival time, depending on where you're staying. The park sits on the edge of Jamaica's Cockpit Country, and the river flow is seasonal, so water activities depend on conditions: on rare occasions they may not run. Wear closed-toed shoes, a full-length tank top or t-shirt, and shorts or active pants. The Riverside Restaurant & Bar is on-site if you want to buy food or a drink. Lockers are available for rent if you need to secure your things while you're on the zipline or in the water.

The weight limit for ziplining and e-bikes is 265 pounds. River tubing allows up to 300 pounds. Children as young as six can zipline or tube with an adult, but e-bikes require a minimum age of 10 with parental supervision, and the rum tasting is 18 and up. A 4-foot height minimum applies to the waterslide. Peak times can draw crowds, and the park may close due to capacity or weather, so book with the understanding that availability can shift.
