The experience
Start with the climb. You ascend the terraced steps of Dunn's River Falls at your own pace, moving through cool cascading water and stopping at natural pools carved into the limestone. The guide leads the way and points out the landscape as you go up. Once you've reached the top and soaked in the views, the second part of the day begins: the zipline.
The zipline runs above the falls themselves, so you're gliding across the canopy with the water and jungle spread below you. You move from platform to platform, each one offering a different angle of the falls, the surrounding tropical forest, and on clear days, views toward the Caribbean coastline. Safety gear (helmet and harness) is provided and fitted before you start. The whole experience is built around those two moments: the physical climb through the water, then the aerial view of what you just climbed.
Logistics are handled: a private vehicle picks you up from either Falmouth or Montego Bay, stays air-conditioned throughout, and brings you back at the end. You'll have bottled water on board and wifi if you need it. The day takes about five hours from pickup to return. A live guide speaks English and stays with the group the whole time.

Top questions
What happens if it rains?
It may be canceled due to bad weather. If that happens, you're offered another date or a refund. Free cancellation up to 24 h before the start.
What is Dunn's River Falls like when I get there?
Dunn's River Falls is a series of cascading terraces carved into limestone, with natural pools at different levels where water collects and cools. The steps are terraced, so you climb in stages rather than straight up, and the water flows over and around the steps as you move upward. It's a natural formation, not a single drop, so the climb is as much about moving through the water as it is about gaining height.
Do I need to be fit to climb the falls?
The climb is suitable for all physical fitness levels according to the operator, though you'll be moving upward through water and over wet limestone steps. The pace is your own (you're not racing), and there are pools to rest in along the way. The guide sets the rhythm and can adjust based on the group.
What happens if I pick the Montego Bay pickup instead of Falmouth?
Both pickups include the private transfer, guide, and zipline experience. The difference is the entry fee to Dunn's River Falls: it's included with the Falmouth option but not with the Montego Bay option, so factor that into your choice when you book.
Is the zipline scary if I've never done one before?
The zipline is designed as part of this activity package, and all necessary safety gear (helmets and harnesses) is provided and fitted before you start. You move from platform to platform across the canopy, with the guide managing the experience. The operator notes it's suitable for all fitness levels, though it's not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries or pregnant travelers.
What's included in the price and what do I pay extra for?
The price covers the private roundtrip transfer, the guide, the climb at Dunn's River Falls, the zipline experience, safety gear, bottled water, and wifi on the vehicle. Tips and gratuities, food and drinks, and personal expenses are separate. Depending on which pickup you choose, the entry fee to the falls may or may not be included.
