The experience

The day splits between two main stops. At YS Falls, you swim in the natural pools and can take a zip-line canopy tour if you want it. The Black River Safari is a boat tour where you watch for crocodiles, manatees and other wildlife moving through the mangrove channels and natural vegetation. Floyd's Pelican Bar, built in the sea itself, is where the tour ends with swimming and drinks before heading back.

Your guide is local and speaks English, and the tour runs with private transport in an air-conditioned vehicle. Hotel or airport pickup is arranged for you at the start. The full experience takes between six and eight hours depending on how long you spend at each stop and what activities you choose. Lunch is not part of the package, so plan to eat before you leave or bring money for the bar.
