The experience

Black River's off-road trails take you through forested plains, up rugged hills and through tunnels alongside the river itself. Your guide gives a safety briefing and fits you with a helmet before you depart on the ATV or UTV. The route passes the abandoned remains of a bauxite mining plant from the 1970s, a visible landmark of Jamaica's industrial past now reclaimed by the landscape. After the ride, you head directly to Camp Irie's climbing wall.

The climbing wall is a 30-foot vertical obstacle course where you get unlimited attempts to reach the top. Once both activities are done, you can use the chill spot to rest, play small group games or buy food and drink. The guide stays with the group throughout and speaks English.
