Bardolino sits on the lake about halfway through, and that's where you stop for lunch. A three-course menu awaits at a local restaurant — caprese salad, tagliatelle with porcini or carbonara, fruit salad with ice cream — plus a glass of wine. Vegetarian options are available if you request them when you book. The lake is right there if you want to swim before eating or after, or you can just sit and watch the water.

The return ride follows the same easy path back to Verona, arriving near Ponte Pietra bridge where you drop off the bike. You carry a rear bag for belongings, a reusable water bottle, and a helmet.
