The route takes you along Fondamenta Zattere and Dorsaduro, then turns back at the Hilton Stucky and swings past San Giorgio Maggiore before heading toward Lido di Venezia. That's the part most tourists never see: the quieter edge of the island, the light hitting the water differently.
